I love dips! No fork, spoon or knife needed. Whatever vegetable I have lying around works great. This 3 ingredient sausage cream cheese dip is perfect for veggie dipping!
I could eat this dip all day. (Don’t tell anyone, but sometimes I do…đ) I cut up tons of veggies, like cauliflower, cucumber, peppers, broccoli, celery, etc., and then I make a big batch of this dip. It lasts me a week, so it’s great for meal prep for lunches and it’s so easy to make the dip itself! Just 10 minutes. Dump, heat, and you’re done!
And most dips are pretty flexible when it comes to customizing flavors.
My family and I have been devouring this dip with tortilla chips for years, when an acquaintance’s awesome cousin introduced us to it.
This dip has been there for us through countless movie marathons, potlucks, pregnancy cravings, New Yearâs Eves, and game nights. Always with tortilla chips.
A few years ago I was struggling to find yet another meal replacement for a family member, who was doing another modified Atkins diet stint.
Iâve never been huge on meat, so those stints were quite a challenge for me as the family cook.
I was looking through my recipe box when I came to this Sausage Cream Cheese Dip and I knew we had to figure out a way to be able to have it with Atkins.
Of course the answer was vegetables. (Though it did cross my mind to just eat it with a spoonâŠ)

Keto Sausage Dip is a Crowd Pleaser!
So many of my new keto recipes are makeovers of old favorites, but this is one that I didnât have to modify. The dip itself has not been tampered with in all itâs creamy glory.
However, if you do want to tamper with it, you can totally do that. Sometimes I like to use the maple sausage instead of plain (it doesnât add carbs!).
If you’re looking for more yummy appetizers, try these Keto Onion Rings.
Or if the tomatoes with mild chilis isnât spicy enough for your taste, add another can of hotter chilis or a bit of your favorite spicy salsa to this keto sausage dip.
Weâll be skipping that addition ourselves–a family member says eating shouldnât be painful–but feel free to burn your buds if thatâs your thing!
More great appetizers and snacks!
Veggies for Your Easy Keto Sausage Dip
I canât believe Iâm saying this, but watch your vegetable intake.
This is one thing thatâs still hard for me to believe with keto, but I understand it when I think it through. Some vegetables are higher in carbs than others.
For some people, especially those with medical conditions theyâre trying to heal, this is something they need to be aware of.
Personally, Iâm not to the point yet where I am watching my vegetable carbs. Right now Iâm just happy if I can say no to my kidsâ Fourth of July parade candy.
But for those of us who are in the research and prep phase of the keto diet process, itâs still handy information.
I donât miss the tortilla chips at all. This keto sausage dip is amazing no matter what you dip into it! Or, if you’d prefer a different use for this dip, try making it into Keto Stuffed Peppers. SO yummy!
If you love this recipe, please leave a 5-star rating!! Thanks a bunch!!
